Calendrier Amazigh
An 2953

Selon le calendrier amazigh, le 12 janvier 2003 correspond au 1er Yennayer 2953. Ce calendrier est en avance de 950 ans. L'an zero des Imazighen correspond à l'année où fut intrônisé pharaon d'Egypte, le roi berbère Chachnaq Ier (950 avt J.C.).

De l'arganier à l'huile d'argane (Souss, MAROC)

L'arganier Argania Spinoza (targant), arbre de la famille des Sapotacées. Cet arbre est peu connu puisqu'il pousse uniquement dans le Sud Ouest marocain sur une superficie de 700,000 hectares (espèce endémique). L'arganier est un arbre très résistant, parfaitement adapté aux régions arides, qui peut vivre de 150 à 200 ans. Ses racines s'enfoncent très profond dans le sol à la recherche d'eau. Ce système de racine permet de stabiliser le sol, le protégeant de l'érosion et limitant l'avancée du désert. L'arganier joue un rôle essentiel dans le maintien de l'équilibre écologique et de la situation économique de la population. En 1999, l'UNESCO a reconnu et classé l'arganier comme patrimoine mondial.

Les fruits de l'arganier sont verts (tazêrgemmut) . Ils ressemblent à une olive, mais sont plus gros et plus ronds. À l'intérieur, se trouve une noix (aqqayn) dont la coquille est très dure. Celle-ci représente environ un quart du poids du fruit. La noix peut contenir jusqu'à trois amandons (tîznint, pl. tîznin) à partir desquels sera extraite l'huile d'argane (argan). L'huile d'argane est connue depuis des siècles par les berbères de l'atlas pour ses vertus cosmétiques, pharmaceutiques et alimentaires.

What a job!

I might describe my job in a little more detail here. I' am working in an organisation - SSP. I work with youngs with social problems/abuse/criminality- , what I like best about it? Everyday is a new day, NEVER THE SAME.  (A job with frustrations? Hard to believe, huh?)
